Confirm scientific identity, plant or material part, process, additives, carriers, solvents, allergens, and GMO status. A familiar product name does not guarantee the same manufacturing profile or eligibility in Japan.
Review quality, safety, and logistics together
Specifications, COAs, microbiological and heavy-metal limits, storage, packing, minimum order quantity, and lead time all affect adoption. Sample evaluation and import consultation should proceed in parallel.
Agree change-notification rules early
Changes to origin, composition, process, test method, or manufacturing site should be communicated in advance. This protects the ability to explain quality and maintain long-term supply.
